Free Visit to Clayoquot Island Preserve (Stubbs Island)

Every May Long weekend there are free water taxis from Tofino to Stubbs Island. It's the annual opening of a wildlife refuge and gardens owned by the Land Conservancy.  Pack a picnic lunch, a volley ball, and your walking shoes and spend the afternoon on this little island of paradise.

Free water taxis leave from the 1st Street docks in Tofino.
