The Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby is a season-long fishing derby running May through September long weekend that awards thousands of dollars in monthly cash and prizes to participating anglers with all net proceeds benefiting local salmon enhancement projects through the Ucluelet Salmon Enhancement Society.
Early-bird tickets available through March 31st, 2012. $35 for the whole season.
The top 15 fish caught each month, along with the top 50 of the season, Fish Off for huge cash and prizes (up to $60,000 value) at the Fish Off on September 7th and 8th. Anglers that don’t qualify for a Fish Off position have an opportunity to win a spot through the Fish Off draw. Anglers also have an opportunity to win $250,000 through the Hidden Weight Grand Prize.
